Last week we went to our first rodeo here in Texas. It was held in Killeen, the town that Ft.Hood is in.Jasmine and I went by ourselves and left Todd home with Jaiden and Johnathan.Todd didn’t want to go because he was tired and Johnathan didn’t want to see cowboys. The rodeo was actually better than I expected and the reason we went was because it was military night which meant we got in free and they gave us hotdogs and drinks.Jasmine wanted a hat so I got her a pink cowgirl hat and then she looks at me with a straight face and wants to know where her boots are.She also rode the mechanical bull which she thought was fun.Overall it was a fun day and I will go again as long as it’s free;-)
Jaiden for the last few days has been braving to start walking without any assistance of furniture or wall. She takes quite a few steps but then tumbles.I think it’s funny how she curls up her fat little toes when she is taking her steps.I’m really not looking forward to her actually full on walking because she will get into more stuff.Jaiden is pretty quick now you can’t really keep your eyes off of her because she could be right next to you one minute and the next second be in the bathroom playing with the toilet water. She opens all the cupboards and takes everything out and likes to play. She really loves playing and eating the dogs food and water.
I wanted to get a new playmate for Tink because I thought she was bored being all alone especially at night.Tink has taken to craping on my rug everyday and i swear she is about to go to the pound if she keeps it up.Well anyway I went to the stray facility on post and I saw this really white dog just chilling and I thought it would be a good dog.I was a little wrong.Pete (thats what we named him) did not want to be a inside dog. This dog ran out too many times and I was tired of chasing him so I brought him back. Not only do the vet people not give you your money back but I had to pay them an extra 12 dollars to take the dog.I will never go back there again.I was leaving my house later that afternoon and I saw the neighbor with two puppies and she told me that they were giving them away.Todd and I decided to take one of them and I picked the one that had silky curly hair.I named her Wendy. So far she has been a typical puppy and Jaiden doesn’t like the fact that Wendy likes to bite her toes and little fingers. We will be keeping Wendy unless she does something really horrible because I’m already attached to her.
Jaiden doesn’t want Wendy messing with her
