Jaiden’s 1st 4th of July

Todd and I took Jaiden and Jasmine to the freedom fest activities at Hood Stadium yesterday.We felt like doing something and Todd didn’t feel like driving so we stayed close to home.It was really really really hot.Jaiden’s stroller has where it shows you the temperature and that thing read 110 degrees.I was sweating and my poor little white baby was getting red.I’m not quite sure if we would do it again especially if its going to be this hot.There were so many people there and I just couldn’t believe that they were enjoying themselves when you were a split second away of getting a heat stroke.

Jasmine turned 7

It was Jasmine’s birthday yesterday.She turned a whole seven and she made sure that random people knew about it.Everywhere we went she was telling people that it was her birthday and some ladies gave her a few dollars as a gift.Jasmine went to summer school during the day and later on at night we had a little something for her at the house.We had some of the neighbors and her friends to sing her happy birthday and to have a piece of  Hello Kitty cake.Jasmine loved all her presents that she got from everyone and just got so excited that some of her presents came in the mail from her dad and grandparents.

She gets into everything

One of Jaiden’s favorite places in the house is the kitchen.She loves to open all the cabinets and take all the stuff out.Todd put child locks on where the cleaning stuff is but nowhere else yet.She opens the cabinet with the pots and pans and slams them on the ground.She opens the one that has the dog food and has dumped it on the floor.She really likes to open the food cabinet and step all over the chips.It was kinda cute at first but now its getting old and I’m tired of picking all this stuff up.Next time I will show a video of her going up the stairs because she just waits for someone not to put the gate up.
