12 month baby check up

I know that it has been awhile since my last post but OMG keeping up with Jaiden is an all day process.I can’t keep my eyes off of her for too long because she will be doing something like tearing off the wings of my porcelain tinkerbell.Well anyways Jaiden had her 12 month well baby visit a few weeks ago and it went well.She is 24lbs and I can’t remember how tall she is but she is ok in that department.The nurse had to lay her down to check how tall she was and Jaiden was not at all too happy about that.Of course even though Jaiden has seen her doctor before he was asking how ‘he’ was feeling till I had to correct him that Jaiden is a girl not a boy.What really sucked was that she had to get 5 shots which of course she cried when they gave it to her.I just can’t believe that my chubb chubbs is a whole year old.

Jaiden is no longer a “baby”. We celebrated her first birthday party today! This was actually her second party … my family came over for cake when we were down at grandma and grandpa’s house for a bit of early festivities … and of course, presents.

Today was more of the “friends and neighbors” party. Most of mommy’s friends, and quite a few kids from the neighborhood came to our house, for hot dogs, meatballs, potato salad, and cake. Fun was had by all … video games, conversation, and lots of toys.

Of course both mommy and daddy took some pictures.

Florida Vacation

Jaiden and I took a mini vacation to Florida this summer.This is where her grandparents live which they have only seen chubbs in pictures and Todd was also in Florida for training which was 3 hours away from his parents.We had a great time with the grandparents,cousins,aunt,uncles and Todd was able to bring down his other kids from NC.We were only there for 2 weeks because I had to get back home so I could do the long 3 hour drive to Dallas and get my kids from the airport because they were in Hawaii visiting their dad.My Morris family will be missed but we will see them again for christmas.
