Daddy turns 40

It was daddy’s birthday today.We woke up and family was calling to wish him a happy birthday.He got calls from grandma,my sisters and brother and my uncle.We wanted to give him a gift for him to play golf but he shipped his golf clubs so instead he got a shirt that mommy that was funny.The shirt was about him not having any hair.We had a little get together with the neighbors to celebrate.We had some food and cake.Overall we had a good time and daddy felt young at heart;-)

6 month check-up

I can’t believe that my baby is half a year old.We went to the doctor today to see how well Jaiden is growing.She is doing very well.She is off the chart in her weight(23 lbs) and on the 80th percentile on her height.Jaiden was in good spirits going to the doctor even though she has been feeling sick for the last few days.She was all happy in the waiting room and when she got her check up.It all went unhappy after she got her shots(4 of them).I fed her in the car and she was good to go.I am very lucky that i have a very healthy happy baby.

Working at the book fair

This whole week  Jaiden and i have been volunteering at the schools book fair.Johnathans 6th grade teacher is in charge of the event.I really like that Johnathan has a teacher like Ms Briscoe because she is just great.She has been really good to him and she understands the kids seeing as she is a young teacher.The kids and other volunteer moms have been good with Jaiden being there as it’s a little hard trying to make sure that the students behave at the fair.Jaiden loves it because she gets more attention from people and the kids like to play with her.It has taken us off our regular schedule and im really tired but us helping out is a good thing.
