We recently had a new baby and can't wait to find out how the new models have evolved. Maybe your hubby thought the exersaucer has too many bells and whistles and that Jaiden would like a simpler product. I think both products are very usefull in child development and no doubt Jaiden will have a great time in the Jenny Jump when she gets a bit older. My first two kids loved their exersaucers.
